Sandra Lopez, age 40, went into the arms of the Lord Thursday, August 16, 2007 after a courageous battle with an illness.
She was an active member of the Reguladores and Patriot Guard rider bike clubs. "Lady Rider" therefore she is an angel on wheels.
Sandra was born in Corpus Christi, Texas then moved to Bolivar, Tennessee where she lived for 15 years and became a licenses practical nurse that's what she loved most, to help and care for others who needed her.
She returned to Corpus Christi, Texas and became a chief at Assagio's of Honolulu Restaurant. She was a great daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to us all. She is truly an angel that walked the earth.
We are grateful for every moment we were able to spend with her and we will miss her dearly.
Sandra was preceded in death by her grandmother Sara Davila also by her sister, Yolanda Lopez and her niece, Ashley Kay Lopez.
She is survived by her parents Ubence and Julia Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers; Oscar Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas and Ben Lopez of Houston, Texas; two sisters; Rosalinda and Norma Lopez both of Corpus Christi, Texas; three daughters: Sarah and Jennifer Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Amanda (Nick) Jackson of Bolivar, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Paul Nathaniel, Phenelope Juliana, Gabrielle Alexis and Benjamin Lee all of Corpus Christi, Texas; five nieces and three nephews all of Corpus Christi, Texas.
We, as her family thank God for blessing us with her love. The time has come for her to walk at Jesus' side until we meet again. She will live in our hearts forever. We love and miss you mom. Graveside Funeral Services took place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Duncan Cemetery.
